Dear M, M and M October 30th 2020, marked 10 years of marriage to your father, aka, King of the Ranch, aka ITPT King, aka Husband. As you might be aware, the marriage, like many others, has been an adventure. Full of good days, and some not so good days.  I marked turning 10 by officially starting this Youtube channel and I pray that this three part series will truly bless you.  And when that time comes, and you have to say 'I DO' to the one God has designed for you, you will enjoy each other and fulfil God's plan of being fruitful and reproduce by multiplication. Or if you like, the decade of speech.  The fallacy that is in the childhood rhyme, that sticks and bones may hurt my bones, but words will never hurt me, is the greatest lie ever told. This is what scripture says about the power of the tongue. Your words are so powerful that they will kill or give life, and the talkative person will reap the consequences.  This blog is supposed to be a reflection on the Fearless Summit 2020, which was dubbed 'Be the Spark' . I must say, the annual theme is much needed during this pandemic time. Summit Theme What stood out for me was the last day of the summit, the fearless Sunday. There was the send out commission of Pastor Kevin and his wife Lucy to North America and that was quite emotional. It is a divine phenomenal that God has chosen two 'unlikely' African children to go and be part of the great commission in Washington DC, the capital of governance.  Pastor Muriithi commissioned them with a verse from Psalms 102:18, 'Write this down for the next generation so people not yet born will praise God' This was an amazing verse to remind the missionary couple that the send out was definitely out of great obedience but also for generations. Dear M, M & M Today I share about the power of the One Voice In The Room. The world is full of so many voices, some mean well and some don't, I urge you to identify the one voice in your life so that it will be well with you. Also, this dry jokes make me so happy :-)  And in the usual fashion, here are my top 5 quotes on the one voice.. God speaks in the silence of the heart. Dear M,M&M What a time to be grateful with all that is happening.  Here are my thoughts on why we should give thanks. Saying thank you plays a major role in enhancing and enriching relationships. I know you have dreamed about this day for a long time, and as the day draws neigh, I know there are some mixed feelings. I know you have your wedding checklist in place, probably your officiating clergy/AG, guests, that to-die-for dress, the show stopper cake, the glamourous makeup artist is on standby, the well sort after fun emcee is also on standby. Dear M, M&M, The last couple of weeks have been a double roller coaster, as the globe tries to navigate the COVID-19 situation ( please note, there was no COVID 18, 17, 16 or 10 😊😊) Somehow, we are all putting our heads above the water, and allowing God to teach us how to reset foundations, values and beliefs... we truly cannot be the same after this virus is under control. I have been surrounded by expectant moms this couple of weeks, and I thought my gift to them would be this checklist as they head out to the hospital. Dear son, I hope this finds you well. 31 March 2014 This week, you have fascinated all of us by saying and reiterating the word “NAKUMATT. I see your passion and resilience to get it right as you court it with some humour....oh my oh my what a joy. Another thing that warms my heart is the love you have for people (mmhhh I wonder where you got that from...) you hug strangers, share your cookies and gently kiss the gals. I am proud that at this tender age you listen and treat everyone with respect. I know you still have moments when you tantrum and throw yourself on the floor, but I know you know my stand on that and you are just pushing the envelope....hahahaha I AM MOTHER AND I AM RIGHT...
