According to the Hebrew Calender, the decade 2020 to 2029 is the decade of the mouth. Or if you like, the decade of speech. 

The fallacy that is in the childhood rhyme, that sticks and bones may hurt my bones, but words will never hurt me, is the greatest lie ever told. This is what scripture says about the power of the tongue.

 This blog is supposed to be a reflection on the Fearless Summit 2020, which was dubbed 'Be the Spark' . I must say, the annual theme is much needed during this pandemic time. Dear #CrownPrince, the warm embrace of family.. you can never go wrong. Happy 2.5 years. All I can say, is I am continually amazed by how God has held you and brought you this far. You have grown into a joyful son, learning new words everyday and speaking your mind. (I wonder where you get that from) But I am so proud of you. Your love for music and dance is amazing, your love for books challenges me every day and your love for God is so amazing. You are a true shepherd.    Son, today I speak to you about being a better person. You see there is a big word known as SELF-ESTEEM (Google for definition :-) ).  Self-Esteem affects all of us knowingly or unknowingly and therefore, what we believe of ourselves, affects how others respond to us. Some people have an inflated self esteem, what I call pride and others have a subdued self-worth what I call laziness.
